Poly Canyon - East Trail

Yucca Ridge - Bob's Trail

Other Poly Canyon Hikes

Directions from Hwy 101
Exit on Grand Avenue toward the college
Turn right at the 'T' on Perimeter Road
After about .2 miles, park in lot H4 on the right below the new student housing
Take the left road along the Eucalyptus trees to a nice unpaved road
You'll be following Brizziolari Creek

Poly Design Village sprawls over a large area.
Poly Canyon West Trail is a long hike which returns through the Design Village.

Hike Notes
Back track from the Arch to the Baltimore Bridge.
Take the upper trail on the right (see the small marker at the fork).
The hike will take you over a lot of railroad ties and with no shade.
Look for a trail marker labeled "Bob's Trail" (on the ground again).
Oh yeah. Take Bob's Trail. The yucca can poke you.
There are switch backs. There's a trail down the other side to return to Bob's marker
But the 360 degree view at the top of the ridge makes it all worth it.
Except, we went in the late afternoon on a cloudy, cool day in December!
