Mt Soufriere is geographically located in the West Indies,
and is geologically located on the Caribbean Plate. Mt Soufriere is related to the
study of volcanoes. Mt Soufriere has not been active for 1 year, on March 2,2001.
In 2000 this volcano recorded 411 rockfalls, signals, 21 hybrid, 7 volcano-tectonic, and
44 long period earthquakes. Mt Soufriere is a stratovolcano and was formed in layers.
The fiery clouds of ash that it produces is deadly and will destroy everything in its path.
