Getting There

From the north (Santa Barbara) take the coast route into Ventura.

Take Hwy 33 inland past Foster Park and Theosophy (Krotona Rd).

Go into Ojai just past the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa (right on Ojai Avenue).

Have lunch at the Cafe Emporium and the return to the junction.

Go north on Hwy 33 at the junction (Maricopa Hwy).

16 miles up through the mountains to Rose Valley Recreation Area (right).

Go 3 miles and turn right toward the Rose Valley Campground.

An easy 10 minute walk to Rose Valley Falls.

Return and drive toward Lions Campground and hike to Piedra Blanca.

Wildwood Park and Little Falls?, Thousand Oaks

Return to Ventura via Hwy 33. Take Hwy 101 south to the Lynn exit in Thousand Oaks.

Go north(left) 2.5 miles. Turn left at Avenida de los Arboles. Drive 0.9 miles to park.

Mesa Trail goes over the ridge. Indian Creek Trail has steps down to the creek.

California Hiking says "hike due west on the Mesa Trail .5 miles to the North Tepee Trail and turn left, dropping down into the canyon. Once there, walk to your right and then bear left at the next fork." A 70 foot waterfall? Click for the: Wildwood Park Trail Map

(vs ?drive to Parking Lot #1. Try for Tepee Overlook from the Moonridge Trail?)

Borderline Bar & Grill, Thousand Oaks

Returning to Hwy 101, take the next exit, Moorpark Road (south or right).

(Unless you need Denny's strawberry cheesecake, then take a left.)

Back to Borderline... Take a left at the first signal. You can park anywhere.
