another championship season,
but the culmination of 4 outstanding years of wrestling by the graduating seniors.
Few can appreciate the mental and
physical toughness required. Wrestlers
compete at times discouraged and at times inspired. They compete injured and tired. They've wrestled and fought on when there was no hope to win. Some must have thought of giving up, but these young men
have much to be proud of. They've
experienced victory and defeat equally. They've wrestled for themselves
individually and for each other as a team. This was the year for the seniors to
represent the best of West Torrance wrestling and they did just that.
Here is who they are and
what they accomplished during that
1999 championship season.
