From West LA take the 405 Freeway thru Sepulveda Pass to Hwy 101 West (North) It really doesn't get scenic until you get to Calabasas. Conejo Grade is steep! You wanted scenic? Drive Hwy 1 (PCH) Malibu! Hwy 1 (Rice Ave) joins 101 Oxnard to Santa Barbara
