Huntington Library & Gardens
Website
includes a cool virtual field trip
with 360 degree pictures

We got a map at the entrance and chose to just stroll the grounds. We headed down the hill to the left to see the
impressive Desert Garden.

A blue Night Heron. We wondered why he kept staring at those huge koi fish?

We crossed a service road to the Lily Ponds. I wonder if Lauryn remembers visiting there when she was little? Carp and koi fish, ducks, lots of turtles and one lone heron looking for a minnow.

A few steps up the hill leads thru a small
Jungle Garden and at the top in the Rose Garden and Café.
We checked out the small Herb Garden.
In the Shakespeare Garden to the right, Sally played with a huge yellow spider
(orb weaver?).

After lunch we visited the
Japanese Garden which includes a Japanese house,
a Zen Garden rock garden,
and a Bonsai (miniature tree) Court.

Sculpture Garden
near the entrance.
