One Saturday in April 1952, these
four young men recorded
a song in
Auditorium. They were (clockwise from top): Jimmy Sacca,
Seymour Spiegelman, Don
McGuire and Billy
Vaughn. The song
was "Trying," a composition of Vaughn's, and it would be the first
of many chart-toppers by one of the most popular groups of the 1950s. Created
to commemorate the 50th anniversary of that recording, this
