| From Hwy 1 turn toward the beach at Pier Avenue in Oceano. |
| Turn right into the Oceano Campground at park on the right by the Nature Center. |
| Guiton Trail is a leisurely walk around the fresh water lagoon. |
| Cross over the bridge on Pier Avenue to begin the hike. |
| The trail is shaded but lined with poison oak. |
| When you get to the road, head back down the west side of the lagoon. |
| The path back along the shoreline is less direct. |
| Duck Pond means you're almost back to the car. |
| Note: Oceano Memorial Park is south of Pier Avenue. |
| It circles the south end of the lagoon and is grassy with benches. |
