Santorin Island

Santorin Island is the most beautiful island in the world.
The island is at the south end of the Cyclades Islands. The island is between Los and Anafi.

The island is most famous for its caldera.
When the volcano erupted the whole Minoan civilization was destroyed.
Santorin is one of the top 5 places for Atlantis.
Its basin covering 32 square miles and it is between 300 and 600 meters deep.
There are also many mountains on the island. The largest is Meso Voune.
The mountains highest peak is 550 meters high.

Another famous aspect of the island is its beaches.
There are beaches with black, red, or white sand and the water is deep blue and crystal clear.

Besides visiting the amazing geological sites of Santorin Island, there are many
other activities you can enjoy yourself with. There are many museums to visit to learn more
about the history of the island. You can do watersports and enjoy the sun.
