Getting There

From Morro Bay or SLO take Tank Farm Rd east to Orcutt Road.

It's a beautiful drive and T's into the Lake Lopez route (turn left).

From Hwy 101 exit Grand Ave in Arroyo Grande.

Drive east (now Branch St) thru the village.

Bear right at Huasna Road.

Follow the signs to Lake Lopez (don't stay on Huasna).

Notes

The Blueberry Springs - Turkey Ridge loop trail is a good hike.

There's a nice short walk off Valley Oaks (campground) to the water.

Also short is the walk along the Marina Trail.

At one of the 2 benches there's a 4-way intersection...

We missed the turn to Rocky Point but got to another rocky point.

We're saving the Duna Vista (6.6 mile/3 hr) hike for another day!

It was fun to drive around the campsites and have a picnic lunch!

In March it wasn't crowded or hot!
