The Devils Tower is located in the North Eastern corner of Wyoming. Devils Tower is about 150 miles from Gillette, Wyoming also located in the northeastern corner of the state. Devils Tower is near Yellowstone National Park. I think it is in the middle of the plate. The plate that Devils Tower is located on is the North American Plate. Devils Tower was the old core of a volcano, also the Tower has been eroded a lot over the years. So I'm guessing that I would study under volcanoes and weathering and erosion. I'm guessing that there has been some accident with mountain climbers. To be safe you would need experience. There are some climbing clubs around the area. There is also camping and trails around the area. Devils Tower was the first National Monument in the United States. The Devils Tower was formed by the core of a volcano. I'm not sure what kind. There might be some studies about how old the monument is. |
