Quarry Trail Quarry?

Whalemouth Rock
Cerro Cabrillo

Sally's Rock
Cerro Cabrillo

Portola Point 1st and Quarry Trail 2nd
Start at the spacious parking lot. Hike toward Cerro Cabrillo on Quarry Trail.
Did I mention to get Robert Stone's book with the good trail diagrams?
Well head down Live Oaks Trail into the meadow toward 329 ft volcanic Portola Hill.
A few easy switchbacks will get you to the top with a bench and view of the estuary!
Return back up to Quarry Trail and continue southeast to the end of the park.
You'll notice a path to the top of Cerro Cabrillo (911 ft) on the left by the Tiki Rock.
At the end, I think there's another quarry?
Stone said a quarry for roadbed rocks operated on the side of Cerro Cabrillo until 1959.
Take Canet Trail around Hill 811 and connect with Park Ridge Trail.
Take a right on Crespi Trail to headback to the gate (2-car parking spot).
At the road go right on Live Oaks Trail returning to the original parking lot.

Sally's walking group did the Crespi Trail (Hike #21)
They started at the same lot but went out the south end toward the gate parking spot.
They took Crespi Trail out and looped back to Chumash Trail.
They returned to the gate parking spot and back to the original lot.
