I think it was the Castella Road exit (?). The park has some difficult hiking trails and some campgrounds. The only road is narrow and leads to the only viewpoint. Fortunately, we didn't meet any cars in the 'off season'. It's an easy stroll up to the lookout and great views of the crags, Mt Shasta, and Grey Rock. Think of the $6 for a 5-minute drive as a donation.
