Getting There 2

2. Cascades (end of the LA Aqueduct) to Vasquez Rocks (county park)

a. Take the 14 east to the Agua Dulce Rd exit left (north).

b. Not sure what they mean by Vasquez Rocks Park 2(?) but keep going.

c. As you can see on the map below (left), don’t take the sharp left by the park.

d. Continue straight as the road turns into Escondido Canyon Rd.

e. Look for the small entrance on the right to Vasquez Rocks County Park.

f. It’s a short drive and hot, but great rocks.

g. On exiting, take a right (east?) on Escondido Canyon to loop back to 14.

1. Okay, we got off too soon! We exited on Soledad Canyon Rd.

2. The map said we could continue and take a right toward Vasquez Rocks...

3. All right, we didn’t. Cleverly missing the chance to see the town of Ravenna…

4. We just let a few quarry trucks go by and got back on the 14 east.
