It's easy to get to the Sundial Bridge!
In Redding from I-5 take the 44 west.
Get off at Exit 1 (the first exit!) and...
Take Auditorium Road to the Turtle Bay Exploration Park.
If it's not crowded you can park right when you see the bridge.
Free parking, free bridge. Museum cafe with restrooms.
There's a fee for Turtle Bay Park. Not sure about the museum.
If you arrive before 2:15PM you'll be able to see the sundial work.
Connects up to the Sacramento River Trail.
The gardens are supposed to open May 2005.
There's even fishing in the Sacramento River by the bridge.
