Actually, I don't remember a lot of this hike I took once.
There was an easy start from the parking lot and some vertical post?
There was a turn up off the main trail. Where was that?
Then we were hiking up one of the many spurs. Which one?
There was a lot of loose gravel/dirt which made coming down tricky.
It is a more remote hike than the standard west approach.
Miguelito shale everywhere. Some ancient sand dune evidence?
Bishop pine stand on the ridge in PG&E property.
Some sheep grazing (once?) below atop the bluffs.
