We got into the train station late afternoon.
Did I mention that it was hot?
McKinley Chalet but no air conditioning!
We did get a corner room with a view
8PM We got a beer and a quesadilla at the Nenana View Bar.
10PM we cooled our feet in a tub of cold water.

Monday - June 21, 2004
7AM - Rafting the Nenana River - Calm & Cool!
It can be dangerous! The river was flowing at a safe 10,000 cfs.
After lunch we visited Jeff King's Husky Homestead and learned about the Iditarod Race.
The Cabin Nite Dinner Theater was great. Try the ribs!

Tuesday - June 22nd
5:30AM Tundra Wilderness Tour 2nd bus out and we saw the grizzlies, moose, caribou and wolf...
It's cooling off but we're heading to Fairbanks which hit 40 degrees celsius!
Rivers Edge Resort and air conditioning!!!
A great night's sleep!
