White Pass & Yukon Railroad - down into Skagway.

Monday - June 28th
Noon - leaving Whitehorse, we stop for a kodak moment at Miles Canyon.
Emerald Lake has many shades of green!
Carcross at Lake Bennett - Get some of that raisin & rum ice cream!
Get on the White Pass & Yukon Train at Frazier.
You whiz by the border at White Pass Summit (Alaska, BC & Yukon flags).
Get on the right side going down. There's great scenery and it's narrated.
Actually everyone ends up leaning over to look! (Dead Horse Gulch)
Finally you'll enter Skagway past the cemetery and to your Westmark.
We're not done yet. Beside buying some Skagway stuff at the outlet store...
After dinner, we start our hike to Lower Dewey Lake sometime after 8PM.
You can see the hill from our room. The tricky trailhead is between 3rd & 4th.
Thanks to Sally for finding the footbridge to the trailhead.
It got to be around 10PM and it looked like rain. Trapper Jim?

Tuesday - June 29th

Trapper Jim, can you find our way back? Yes, there's our ship and room!
As we have our first cruise dinner in a great window table, Zaandam backs out.
